performances
One of the key results of the Starcatchers project is the wide range of performing arts experiences, created specifically for 0-4 year olds, their parents and carers. These performances nurture young children’s creative and cognitive development, sparking their imaginations. In a broader sense, they allow us to connect with new audiences, support artists’ creativity and contribute to the development of a theoretical framework for early-years theatre in Scotland.
The majority of these performances have been developed during Artist Residencies which provide vital time and space for artists to devise engaging and innovative theatre for this young age group.
Keep checking current performances to see what’s on and when. Take a look at our previous performances to find out about the productions devised during our pilot project.
