Starcatchers’ Freelance Operations Support

Starcatchers are seeking a Freelance Operations Support to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, focusing on its administrative processes. The post-holder will have an excellent eye for detail and admin skills which will drive the core functions of the charity as well as support the company’s programme of activities.

This role is offered on a freelance basis and a fee of £6,000 has been allocated to cover 40 days of time. The focus of the work will be between 6th January and 4th April, however we would be keen for the post holder to be able to allocate some time before Christmas if possible. 

There is an intention to extend the contract to 30th June for a further 40 days of time, however this is dependent on funding decisions due in early December and the end of January. Contract extension would be confirmed in early February. 

The freelance post-holder would report to the Chief Executive and work closely the Heads of Early Years Development and Artist Development. 

Due to the requirements of the role, it is not possible for the work to be undertaken fully remotely. The post-holder will be expected to work from the Starcatchers office in Wester Hailes throughout the week, the timing of which will be agreed with the CEO/Senior Management Team.
