Mixed Up digital is going to the 25th Baboró International Arts Festival for Children

13 September 2021

We are delighted to announce that Mixed Up digital will be part of the 25th Baboró International Arts Festival for Children. Mixed Up will be bringing a vibrant, interactive experience to children aged 3-8 years and their grown-ups exploring a mix of emotions and feelings through painting, music, and dance. Families and schools will be able to enjoy Mixed Up from the 4th – 17th October 2021. Wonderful to be part of such a fantastic programme!

Schools

Teachers and students watch the film together in the classroom before heading to the playground to get creative in a teacher-facilitated large-scale drawing session. The Mixed Up experience includes a digital package of short videos that guide teachers through related activities and an in-classroom creative task to help children explore their feelings. Teachers will be invited to a zoom meeting with the makers of Mixed Up in advance of the festival. Each class will receive a resource pack of materials by post in advance of the classroom experience.

Families

Families can enjoy the Mixed Up film and family online resources at home during the festival (4 to 17 October). Links will be made available on 4th October.

The show Mixed Up by Katy Wilson, was commissioned by Imaginate and first shown at the Children’s Festival in May 2021.
