Jane has worked in the field of policy and participation for several years and is a strong advocate for involving the voice of lived experience in policy, practice and service design. She is passionate about children’s human rights and has previously worked for a children’s charity where she used creative approaches to listen directly to the voices and experiences of children from the earliest age. Jane has designed and delivered training for practitioners on children’s rights and participation.

Jane has a Politics and Sociology degree from the University of Glasgow. She is a trustee for an intersectional feminist charity which focuses on tackling gender based-violence through addressing online tech abuse. Through her board experience she has been able to help promote greater board diversity and inclusion.
