Rhona has recently taken on the role of Starcatchers Strategic Lead – Advocacy and Transition, after almost 20 years as Chief Executive. Rhona has been with Starcatchers since its pilot project in 2006. She joined Starcatchers as the project manager of the pilot project in 2006. She is a passionate advocate for the role that the arts have to play in the lives of our youngest children and championing their right to access high quality arts and creative experiences that they can share with their parents and carers. In 2023, she graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a MSc (Distinction) in Children’s Rights with a specific focus on the rights of babies.

Rhona is Chair of the Advisory Board of Playground in Kent and is a Member of the Board of Together, Scotland’s Alliance for Children’s Rights.
