Mixed Up: The Digital Classroom Experience

In summer 2023, Starcatchers delivered Mixed Up with Angus Council. The digital classroom experience empowered staff to confidently embed a new creative approach into their practice, which encouraged learners to develop their agency in a meaningful and practical way. The resources removed the time pressures and other expectations, traditionally assumed with creative experiences, and replaced them with freedom and stimulation.

Mixed Up is a vibrant, interactive experience for 3 – 8-year-olds exploring a mix of emotions and feelings through painting, music, and dance. We are offering all Local Authorities the unforgettable Mixed Up experience for their schools during the 2023/2024 school year.

The Mixed Up offer: £85 per class

Includes:

• Online access to Mixed Up Films and resources for the full term
• A box of materials to explore as part of the Mixed Up experience (posted out the first week back in January)
• Online training on Wednesday 17 January, 4pm-6pm, to support you on your Mixed Up journey

In Person Training for Group Bookings

If your local authority books Mixed Up for 10 or more classes in one transaction, you will receive a FREE two hour, in-person practical training session. A Starcatchers facilitator will deliver your boxes of materials, and together you will explore the Mixed Up experience in a relaxed and supportive environment. This is a great way to create a community of teachers and early years professionals who will be delivering the Mixed Up experience in your area.
