Musical Explorers was an artist-led experience for babies and very young children, aged from birth to 2 years, and their grown-ups, which ran until June 2024 at Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy. The music-making sessions were free of charge and explored sounds, musical instruments and music-making, giving children space to express their creativity and musicality.

Musicians Laura Magee and Conor O’Donnell, led the weekly sessions, and were joined by guest artists, Calum Huggan (percussion), Sophie Rocks (harp), Penny James and Matt Tighe (fiddle).

We are very grateful to the Youth Music Initiative (YMI) fund, for their support in making this project happen. YMI is a Scottish Government initiative, administered by Creative Scotland.
