Welcome to Starcatchers Play and Explore

Lead artist Roz McAndrew introduces Starcatchers Play and Explore

Every Tuesday at:
Scout Hall, Cowdenbeath, 11am-12 noon
Viewfield Baptist Church, Dunfermline, 2-3pm

Delivered in partnership with Fife Gingerbread, Starcatchers Play and Explore is Starcatchers’ weekly Fife-based group offering free creative play sessions for parents with little ones aged birth to two years old.

We explore different art forms and themes every week, inspired by what the wee ones who join us enjoy most! From messy music to a dinosaur adventure, each session is full of exciting new things for wee ones and their adults to discover together.

The programme takes place in two locations across Fife: Dunfermline and Cowdenbeath. Come along and enjoy laid-back creative play sessions delivered by early years artists exploring loads of different art forms and exciting materials for wee ones to dive into!

To find out more about Starcatchers Play and Explore, email lead artist Roz McAndrew, or just pop along!

Starcatchers Play & Explore is part of a larger 3-year programme, Cashback for Young Parents, delivered in partnership with Fife Gingerbread, and supported by the Scottish Government’s CashBack for Communities fund.

Fife Gingerbread

Starcatchers Play and Explore is run in partnership with Fife Gingerbread; a voluntary sector organisation that provides information, advice and support to lone parents and families in need all over Fife. The project builds on the success of Starcatchers’ previous community engagement activity in the region – Where We Are and Expecting Something – which provided a creative play space for young parents under 25, with babies under two years old.

This project is supported by CashBack for Communities
