Working with Articulate to support families

3 July 2020

We are delighted to be working with Articulate to deliver creative parenting online support to families in Scotland. The sessions will help build confidence and develop strong bonds between parents and their wee ones through regular creative play.

Starcatchers’ Creative Skills Manager, Heather Armstrong, and Expecting Something Artist Kerry Cleland will work alongside Articulate staff with families to inspire different creative activities that parent and child can experience together.

Artists connect with families during online sessions that take place over seven weeks, complemented by creativity packs delivered directly to their homes. They provide opportunities for parents to have fun through creativity, strengthen bonds with their wee ones and develop friendships with other families.

The Articulate Cultural Trust and Hub is a  platform for arts projects, programmers and producers, creating a portal to creative experiences for children, young people and adults. Their mission is to give young Scots equality of opportunity by removing barriers to enjoyment of the arts, exploring their creative interests and engaging with the contemporary cultural landscape. www.articulatehub.com/
