Winter Wanderland
Join us on Saturday 29th November 11am-3pm at Wester Hailes library for a free, drop-in window decorating day and other crafts. Window packs will also be available for you to take home and decorate your own window.
We would love you to help us light up the night on 12th & 13th December to let Narnia shine. Add your window display to the trail by clicking here.

Narnia Theatrical Experience
Come with us on a magical adventure through the wardrobe into the enchanted land of Narnia! Live music, creative play, aerial artistry and hot chocolate; Narnia in Wester Hailes is a free, winter trail for families with babies and young children (birth-5 years old) in Wester Hailes. Join us on a journey into a snowy wonderland full of unexpected characters and magical surprises.
Performance dates:
Friday 12th December, 4pm
Saturday 13th December, 1:15pm and 4pm

Free, delicious freshly prepared food – come along with others in the community on Wednesday 3rd December to enjoy some food and chat together and of course enjoy a Narnia themed dessert!
Join the Health Agency on Friday 12 December for a Narnia inspired community meal.
Prospect House (for all Prospect tenants and their families of all ages)
From the 8th – 19th December: Prospect Community Housing is inviting Prospect tenants to decorate their windows with a Winter Wonderland/ Narnia theme and send them their photos to share on their social media. Prizes to be won!
Everyone can come along to Whale Arts Winter Fayre on Saturday 6th December. Join them for a magical day to kick off the festive season! With the chance to:
- Get creative and cosy with some winter crafting
- Join in with some fantastically festive games
- Enjoy delicious treats and hot drinks from our Pod Cafe
- Browse our creations for the perfect handmade gift
And for any littlest visitors, Starcatchers will be running some fun activities for birth-5 year olds from 1.00am – 1.00pm
Whale Arts Smarties group will be enjoying a Narnia themed crafting session.
Whale Arts Stitch in Time will be helping us to stitch together bunting that will be used in Starcatchers’ Narnia theatrical experience.
Holy Trinity Church
Join Holy Trinity Church for their Christingle Family event on Tuesday 23rd December. A family friendly event with crafts, games, candle-lit Christmas carols and a short child-friendly talk looking at the Christmas story behind Narnia.
