Support Starcatchers’ work with a donation
Please click on the NowDonate button above. By donating through NowDonate we can easily claim Gift Aid on your gift (if you are a UK tax payer), making your donation go even further for the charity. Your donation will support very young children across Scotland enjoy inspiring arts experiences from birth.
Where does my donation go?
Every donation made towards our work goes directly to the babies and families participating in Starcatchers’ creative experiences. We work very closely with families and partner organisations in communities across Scotland, and in our Baby Studio in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh, to deliver sessions that support participants’ wellbeing, offer whole family support in the community, and an artistic experience designed to be baby-led and developed with their interests at its heart.
Did You Know?
£5 goes towards healthy snacks for the babies and their grown-ups to enjoy as part of their creative play session. As the cost of living crisis goes on, we need support to ensure the families we work with have access to a warm lunch during the colder months.
£15 can buy accessible, fun materials for a creative play session, which our artists use to design a variety of beautiful new worlds for babies to explore with their grown-ups.
£50 Can help buy a collection of warm waterproofs for our participants to make sure their little ones stay warm in the colder months, and so the babies’ play can continue outside if those puddles prove too much to resist!
£150 goes towards an Early Years Artist to facilitate a Starcatchers session, ensuring every little one who comes to Starcatchers is offered the most magical and beautiful creative experience, designed to ignite their curiosity and fuel their imagination.

Our Funders and Partners
We are grateful to all those who share our belief that all children across Scotland should be able to enjoy creative, playful, nurturing early years.
We are proud to be part of Creative Scotland’s portfolio of Regularly Funded Organisations as well as the Scottish Government’s cohort of Third Sector organisations providing services for communities, children and families.
We recognise the incredible support of trusts and foundations who put children’s early experiences at the heart of their vision. Thank you for including Starcatchers in your roster of projects supporting positive relationships, health & wellbeing and child development.
We are proud to be working alongside arts and cultural partners to create live performances, develop international exchange, and to ensure Scotland is a great place to be an artist working with Early Years children.
We work in partnership, understanding that this is often the best way to connect with families. If you are interested in partnering on an idea, please contact Judith Anderson.
Thank you to our individual givers and project partners. You will find details of our supporters on each project page.
