Sound Seekers – Music Specialist
Ronan is a Theatre Maker and Musician who specialises in clowning, performing in the public space, and working in healthcare, education and community settings. His work aims to create an atmosphere of play, comfort and well-being for everyone involved.
For many years he performed in Blue Man Group and continues to hone his clowning skills through workshops, performance, and his work as a Clowndoctor with Hearts & Minds. As a member of Sprog Rock, a band that writes songs with and for young audiences, he is interested in how music can be the language to open up a young person’s creativity and communication. Through collaboration, he creates vibrant and playfully disruptive walkabout performances, such as The Dab Hands and Windbags.
With the Tron Theatre he devised a long-standing outdoor sensory engagement program for early years called Walking Tall Tales, and with Tenterhooks he was part of the team who created the shows Mess and Gaggle for ASN audiences. Other credits include White (Catherine Wheels) and Slug & A Ladder to the Stars (Visible Fictions).
