The Baby Book Project

The Baby Book Project is a project led by artist Rebecca Fraser, working in partnership with Parkhead Toddler Group, to explore Starcatchers’ Voice of the Baby research. Over the course of the project, the families will meet each month and will be led through a creative play session inspired by the UNCRC, contributing to a creative journal about their babies first year.

The Baby Book Project is a project led by artist Rebecca Fraser, working in partnership with Parkhead Toddler Group, to explore Starcatchers’ Voice of the Baby research. Over the course of the project, the families will meet each month and be led through a baby book session, contributing to a creative journal about their babies first year.

Each session is inspired by the themes from the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child) and is a monthly opportunity for families to have meaningful connection with their babies through creative play, and reflect and record their baby’s ‘voice’.

As part of Let's Be Heard, the participation programme of the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry, Starcatchers and artists Heather Fulton and Rebecca Fraser are delivering creative consultation sessions with families in Moray and Glasgow.
